B. Performances - several available, here are three in very different styles

i. King’s College Choir, conducted by David Wilcox – very ‘kings-y’, delicious singing, rather po-faced pronunciation!

ii. BBCFour programme performed by an all-female orchestra and choir in the Pieta in Venice, where Vivaldi worked. Complements the BBC4 programme "Vivaldi and the Women of the Pieta". Much brighter, more vivid sound

iii. Le Choeur d'Air France(!) with the Orchestre Symphonique de Paris. Concert performed Sunday 10 February, 2013 in the Church of the Sainte Trinité, directed by Anne Laffilhe. Nice performance, though venue is rather echoey

2. YouTube PERFORMANCES OF SONGS - With thanks to Val for research

I can see clearly now TonArt, Kulturhalle Gröbming. This German choir sings a break after first word of each line, which Craig doesn't want, but it's a great, rhythmic, lively performance otherwise, easy to hear all parts.

The Continental The UCLan Chamber Choir singing in the final of the BBC Choir Of The Year 2010 with the UCLan Chamber Choir

Tea for Two Another German group, super-clear.

Over the Rainbow Southampton University Chamber Choir

Solstice Song Rosthern Junior College Chorale

Now is the Month of Maying Kings Singers, lovely, clear parts
